As of today, I'm 9.5 weeks along, which means I've known of my pregnancy for about 6 weeks. I'm happy to say that things do seem to move along quite a bit faster the second time around. Still, I have 30 more weeks to go (and I mean that...this baby is NOT coming anything more than a day early), so let's see how I feel in another 20.
By the end of this week, the baby's knee joints have formed and the heart, hands, and feet are almost completely developed. His/her facial features have become more apparent, many of the internal organs have begun to function, and the nervous system is responsive. Twenty tiny baby teeth are forming in the gums.
